A small church dedicated to Sant'Eufemia appears to have existed before 1000, while the current building dates back to the 14th century (it was consecrated in 1356, and a stone placed above a window on the south side bears the date 1347 engraved). From the beginning it was dedicated to the Saint, one of the first martyrs of Aquileia, baptized by Sant'Ermacora together with Tecla, Erasma and Dorotea. In ancient times it was the parish church of Segnacco.

It can be reached after an 8-10% ramp going up from the town of Segnacco (be careful, it is against traffic) or from Tarcento. Excellent point for a break, in the nearby cemetery there is a fountain.
