Hiking
Of particular note are a number of early Christian churches and a sprawling bishop's palace. According to current knowledge, the extensive episcopal complex consists not only of the basilica, baptistery, and the bishop's residence. Several other buildings are also found, three of which are now interpreted as martyria/memorial buildings. Also worth mentioning is a garden within the complex, enclosed by a wall.

Bishop's Palace and Basilica
Side experienced its last heyday in the 5th and 6th centuries. Side became a bishopric, always in competition with Perge. The bishopric, built in several phases during this period, encompassed a palace, a basilica, a private chapel for the bishop, two cisterns for the water supply, and extensive gardens on a site of approximately 9,700 square meters. The complex is located on the eastern side of the colonnaded street running south.
