Ponurzyca Paved Road

A sheltered table and benches can be found near the southern end of the village in the public playground behind the bus stop. Good resting place.

Currently beautiful asphalt, bearable gravel remains at the end near Kołbiel. Worth the ride.

Ponurzyca is quite a special village, unlike any other I know in Masovian Voivodship.

Its originality comes most from its remoteness - it is located far from other settlements, surrounded by forests, and until recently no paved road led there. The buildings are scattered around, forming a few smaller settlements, which in Poland is more typical for mountain areas and villages in the eastern part of the country. The main road through the village is made of gravel.
