The Ecovia is part of the European cycle route network Eurovelo, which covers the whole of Europe, and is a section of Route No. 1 - the Atlantic Coast Route - which runs between Sagres, in the far southwest of Europe, and the Norkap in Scandinavia. The route, which consists of five sections, follows existing cycle paths, rural tracks and, in some cases, paths parallel to National Road 125, and allows you to discover the breathtaking coastal scenery.
