The Kromme IJssel is a short river in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It has a total length of 2.75 km and falls within the water board De Stichtse Rijnlanden.The Kromme IJssel starts in Nieuwegein and is a branch of the Hollandse IJssel, where it takes a sharp turn to the north at the Doorslag. The first part flows along the IJsselbos, then it goes under the A2 and curves around the Het Klaphek area, before the river continues to flow as the Enge IJssel.

Path is very narrow and uneven. There is a board to get of your bike actually. It will be hard to pass if someone is coming from the other side. Usually no people with dogs
