    The Las Palomas Roman Bridge (Puente Las Palomas) is located near the town of Almogía. Built in the 1st century AD, it originally served as part of a Roman road that ran through the region. In the late 18th century, the bridge was extensively restored during the reign of King Charles III, when the construction of a royal road was ordered on the old Roman route. Today, the original structure is largely preserved, with only the yokes and buttresses remaining. The bridge spans the Campanillas River in a valley below Almogía.

    The area surrounding the bridge offers a charming landscape of olive groves and rolling hills that are ideal for cycling and nature exploration. The combination of historic architecture and natural beauty makes the Las Palomas Roman Bridge an interesting touring destination for history buffs and nature lovers alike.
