Tips
Although located in the Cévennes, the small town of Vigan acts as a link between the central massif and the Mediterranean world.It is a geographical border at the crossroads of different climates and cultures. It is quite isolated compared to the other closest large cities like Alès or Nîmes. It is fed by three rivers, the main one being the Arre. A spring supplies the town with water, which is, in these fairly dry regions, an undeniable asset. The city center is very pleasant.
