Ludwig Dürr, underfather of Weil im Schönbuch, was shot dead on 28.4.1813 by a poacher. Dürr lived until 21 May and died in Altdorf.
The stone was built about 1820 at the Diebssteige on the slope to Goldersbachtal, then set in 1983 by the Forestry Office Bebenhausen to the current location (Schindereiche) new.
