Included in the Byzantine Salento collection komoot.it/collection/1811756/-salento-byzantine - Always approachable, what remains of the crypt and the frescoes are clearly visible. A grate placed in front limits access to the apse and, above all, prevents you from accidentally falling into the hypogeum below. The original stairs that allowed the descent towards the cave have collapsed. To peek inside, simply go to the back where an opening allows you to peer into the darkness below. Someone is trying to clean it up at least. Who and for what purpose I don't know.
