A great moss trail. However, we had to turn around today because the paths got too wet for us at some point. But highly recommended 👍

The Taufachmoos and Fetzachmoos area with Urseen is a nature reserve in the towns of Leutkirch im Allgäu and Isny im Allgäu in the district of Ravensburg, which was designated by the Tübingen regional council on June 23, 1982.According to the protection area ordinance, the main purpose of protection is “the preservation of the very original landscape shaped by the ice ages with the open water surfaces of the two primordial lakes, the dead ice holes in the earth moraine and the open and wooded raised moor areas as well as the many different transition stages from low moor to high moor. This largely intact habitat is of high ecological value, in which numerous rare plant and animal species have been able to survive. The protected area is a large complex of moors, with high, transitional and low moors and moor forests. The Großer Ursee and the Kleiner Ursee in the west of the area and the Fetzachweiher in the north are the largest bodies of water. They are drained by the Fetzachgraben.Source: Wikipedia
