    An obligatory visit to Sant'Angelo a Fasanello is the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, an ancient structure housed inside a large cave. Among the stalactites and stalagmites are the chapel of the Immaculate Conception, sculptures, fourteenth-century frescoes and the marble statue of St. Michael the Archangel.
