The Miodne Reserve was established in 1985. The name of the reserve is associated with the strongly developed wild beekeeping in the Kozienicka Forest. The reserve was established to preserve the unique beech refuge. Single specimens are even 100 years old. This area is a wildlife sanctuary, e.g. roe deer and wild boars. You can meet here: common buzzard, great woodpecker, medium woodpecker, songbird, as well as reptiles and amphibians: sand lizard, adder, European tree frog, common toad.
Protected plants: crested sedge, pendulous pearl bark, yellow warbler, wood violet, common ivy.
The area of the reserve is 20.38 ha.
