The way to the Bruarfoss is not that easy. The path to the Foss leads over a very slippery and also slimy path in bad weather.

For me with the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland.
Wasn't easy to get there as the waterfall is in a private estate.

In wet weather, which can often happen in Iceland, a 500 meter passage is a path full of mud and mud. If you don't have rubber boots, you shouldn't wear the latest sneakers but sturdy shoes that can get rid of dirt. The three falls afterwards are worth the effort and dirt.

The 3 falls hike is spectacular and easy to walk if it's not too wet (slippery) or too warm (flies 🙈). Meanwhile there is a parking lot behind the bridge and signs, no private property has to be passed anymore.

Very nice waterfall and not overcrowded due to the approx. 3 km hike. Path is muddy when it rains. Hike leads (9/2022) over private property, which is also signposted, but is permitted. The path is even marked, albeit at very large intervals.
