Hiking
The history of Neuhof was shaped for a long time by the lords of Zabelstein Castle. The lords of Scherenberg first sat here before the castle complex fell to the prince bishops of Würzburg in the 14th century. In the immediate vicinity of the Neuhof were the so-called Zabelsteiner Höfe, which are now deserted. These farms were also dependent on the Lords of Zabelstein and were abandoned after 1842.
