Unique, rare and fascinating two-story cave dwelling, which was ingeniously created from an exhausted stone quarry, closing the openings and creating internal spaces with walls, exploiting all the corners until it completely integrated with it. This house in the rock is known as 'Sengia dei Meoni', from the name of the last family who lived there until 1959. But on August 11 of that year, during a violent storm, lightning came down the chimney causing a fire, as well as shaking the walls and making the building uninhabitable: the family was saved, but the house was definitively abandoned. It was restored in 2013, with original rustic furniture from the early 1900s, becoming a museum open only in pre-established months, days and times: a dive into the past! For info:
