Located on a volcanic slope in the west of the island is Sabinosa, the most isolated town in El Hierro and one of those that best preserves El Hierro customs; in fact, it is famous for its great folklore tradition. From here there are exceptional views of the Gulf Valley and its narrow streets show some examples of popular architecture. Lovers of good wine should not leave without trying their excellent wines, one of the best kept secrets of this unique town that still has traditional wineries and whose access roads run through vineyards.
