From this bridge you have a great view of the nearby waterfall. These stone bridges are typical of the region and have allowed pedestrians to cross rivers for centuries. These bridges are not only incredibly sturdy, but also great photo opportunities.

At the beginning of the 15th century there was an ancient donkey bridge, the Navegna. This place is called Al Salto and stands for waterfall or abyss. The bridge was a link between Tendrasca and Mergoscia with Brione. At that time, three massive chestnut beams were laid from one bank of the gorge to the other, and these then supported the stone slabs. In 1750 the original bridge was replaced by a natural stone bridge, which spans the gorge with a simple Roman arch to this day. The Brionitt call this bridge "Pont des Sipp". Sipp was an old farmer who lived nearby during the summer. The path also leads past a few such houses.
