Looking out across Tralee Bay, Fenit beach is sheltered and often calm, making it the perfect place for a swim. Lifeguards are on duty June to August. There are public toilets, picnic benches and a cafe just across the way, all set against views of the Dingle Peninsula.

We were impressed with all the swimmers here. It was cold for us despite long pants and jacket. Irish people seem to have a different sensitivity to cold than we do 🤣
