Nice cafe at the side of a camp site. I think they bake all the cakes that they sell in the cafe. Short menu but a good place to stop for cake and a hot drink. Nice outside tables for the good weather and a smallish room inside for the winter.
Opening hours are not often so check before making a special visit. Preferable to the Carsington Water visitor centre which is very average.

Opening hours are seasonal so do check before making a special trip as, particularly in winter, you're likely to be wasting your time.

In 2019 only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays - wish I'd checked before the wasted hill climb on a Tuesday!
