Tips
The drop down to Bealach Buidhe can look a little intimidating. It is steep and the trail is challenging. However, hikers with intermediate ability—and decent boots—will find this a fun and exhilarating section in all but extreme wintry conditions. Do watch your step, though.

From here, the ascent to Ben Lomond becomes much harder. Partly it is climbing and not hiking. Proper clothing is a must.
