The Willersinn company has built a new gravel plant here in order to be able to mine sand and gravel in the district of Bonnau.
Let's see how big the mining area will be; not much more fits into the excavator hole than the suction dredger - maybe a Silbersee 2.0 will come of it.
A jetty on the Rhine to be able to transport the extracted gravel by water is also planned.
