The branch church in Maxlon, a district of the municipality of Tillmitsch, is dedicated to Saint Maximilian. The church was first mentioned in a document in 1384, but is still Romanesque at its core. A narrower chancel adjoins the three-bay nave. There are lancet windows throughout. The stone relief of Mary with child above the west portal dates from the mid-13th century.
