The statue of Imperia is satirically reminiscent of the Council of Constance (1414-1418). It shows a lavish courtesan, which gives a deep cleavage and a cloak, which is only provisionally closed by a belt, clear erotic aura.On her raised hands she carries two dwarfish naked little men. The man in his right hand carries the crown of a king on his head and holds an imperial orb in his hand; The figure in her left is wearing a papal tiara and is sitting with his legs crossed. It is not clear whether the figures depict portraits of the rulers at the time of the Council of Constance, Emperor Sigismund and Pope Martin V, or whether they should generally represent the worldly and spiritual power as personalities. The artist himself sees them as naked jugglers who have unlawfully set up the insignia of power.de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperia_(Statue)
