Sentinel Cave connects all the way through from the upper entrance to a lower entrance. The main path through the cave is among the least challenging in the Lava Beds National Monument.

Check in with rangers at the Visitor Center for a free permit before entering any of the caves in the park, and always follow their rules for caving safely and softly.
