Archivel is a small district that, along with others such as Barranda, Navares and Singla, forms part of the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz. This place has a spring, currently within the La Muralla recreational area, and a spring known as Los Ojos de Archivel. In the past it was a decisive factor for the settlement of different towns in the area.
