In Hohenholz, there are two residences in the immediate vicinity: The so-called "New Castle" is a two-story neo-Baroque building that was built in the second half of the 19th century for the Eickstedt-Peterswald family. The central projection shows their coat of arms: the boar heads in the coat of arms at the top left and bottom right refer to Peterswald, while the keys at the top right and bottom left refer to the Eickstedts.
The "Old Castle" is a two-and-a-half-story plastered brick building. The extension is attached to the rear of the main building at right angles.
