The Church of San Andrés is located in the town of Cotillo de Anievas, which due to its location is considered the geographic center of Cantabria.
The church is of Romanesque construction (14th century) and in its primitive form it consisted of a single nave and a belfry that was certainly built later. In general, it has undergone transformations over time, which have not detracted from its presence, being declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1982.
