This large cave has various names: Bus de la Bela, Bus de la Vecia, Bus de la Tosa, Grotta di San Donato and Grotta dell'Orso. The skeleton of an Ursus Spalaeus (Cave Bear) was found there, a prehistoric animal of imposing dimensions that exceeded those of the current Grizzly: 3 and a half meters (standing) and weighing almost 1 ton. Three illustrative panels, at the entrance, tell its story. The skeleton can be viewed free of charge at the Town Hall of Lamon. The remains of this mammal have been found in numerous caves in Europe, an environment that they used as a home and for hibernation: they often entered into competition with prehistoric men for possession of the cave, and one theory suggests that they became extinct precisely because of predation by our ancestors. In ancient times the bones found were attributed to dragons or griffins! In front of the cave, climbing a short exposed ramp equipped with a cable, you reach a beautiful waterfall.it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ursus_spelaeus
