Although this section of the course is quite demanding and also offers some passages that can only be overcome with the use of hands, it offers impressive views and very attractive vegetation.
The Rifugio Tonini is currently (August 2018) unfortunately until unpredictable time out of service, as it burned down some time ago (see photo)
