Thanks to the special status given by the government, the owner was able to realize no less than 5 separate estates on a 26ha site. One of the conditions is that the estate is partially open to walkers. In collaboration with the municipality of Renswoude, three walking routes have been laid out over the Wittenoord estate, which also connect to other routes in the Gelderse Vallei.
