Prádena de Atienza is nestled in a hidden bend of the Pelagallinas River before flowing into the Bornova River canyon, an important river line in the landscapes of the Sierra Norte de Guadalajara. The streets of the town are on a slope to take advantage of the steep slopes of the valley at the foot of the Sierra de Alto Rey, an exclusive landscape of quartzite and slate ridges that close the eastern limits of the Central System.
