Monument to the Elderly on the Paseo del Salón de Isabel II

The work is located in the Paseo del Salón de Isabel II and was carried out in 2006 by the Palencia sculptor Sergio García Díez.The sculpture is made up of a sculptural group made of bronze and made up of two statues in which two old people can be seen, specifically a woman and a man who appear in a resting position seated on the bench. The man also leans on his cachaba and the woman rests her hands on her legs, seeming to engage in a pleasant conversation.The statue was inaugurated on January 10, 2006 by the Palencia City Council, as a tribute to the elderly in Palencia.
