    Grace Kelly was born in Philadelphia in 1929. The American had a stellar career as an actress in Hollywood. She appeared as an aloof blonde in many of director Alfred Hitchcock's classic films and became a star. In 1954 she even received an Oscar in the “Best Actress” category.



    At the height of her career, Grace Kelly finally married Prince Rainier III. from Monaco. The wedding was the media event of 1956. 30 million people around the world watched the ceremony.
