The parish church with the patron saint of the Assumption of Mary is the most important building in the town. The church was consecrated in 1031 and since then it has shared the eventful history of Strengberg. Each generation has left its mark and so the church has been rebuilt many times. Numerous important artists and master builders have contributed to the fact that whoever enters the church today gets an architectural overview of many eras. The magnificent baroque high altar deserves a special mention.
