The White Granary is one of the most valuable monuments of industrial construction in Słupsk. The construction of this military warehouse began in the spring of 1804, with the purpose of storing fodder for horses. Sources say that the construction of the granary ended in 1814, although the building was already included on the town plan from 1811. The granary was one of the few storage buildings on the right side of the river. It stood out against the background of city half-timbered buildings not only by the color of the walls, but also by its size. It was the first granary with such modern construction solutions and one of the first with brick and plastered walls. The external form was designed according to the latest architectural trends. It was characterized by a classicist appearance with a small amount of decoration.

The granary served its function until 1945. In the post-war years, it had various purposes: it was a temporary prison for the German inhabitants of the city, a grain storehouse, a warehouse for mechanical household items. It came into private hands in 1995 and was also used as a warehouse.
