The reading trails were inspired by Imantas Ziedonis's work I, a person, in the world. The purpose of the hiking trails is to provide a way to experience the book in nature, promoting the values expressed by Ziedonis, promoting literacy, as well as providing modern and valuable information while on the road. I. Ziedonis created the book "I am a person in the world" as a family encyclopedia, where you can learn about such fundamental values as nature, cultural heritage, the importance of its preservation, man, history, Latvia, responsibility, development, life, love. It is planned that the interactive Reading Trails created by the Ziedonis Museum and Library will become independent hiking routes throughout Latvia.
