In 1910 the Upland was connected to the railway network. For this purpose, this viaduct was set up, spanning over a length of 294 meters and at a height of 31 meters, the Diemeltal near Willingen. To this day, regional trains travel over the picturesque viaduct. The Diemelradweg leads along the river under the building.

The parking lot directly under the viaduct is chargeable, just follow the street (Stryckweg) under the viaduct after approx. 200 to 300 m there is a free parking lot on the left.
