Location: Rott am Inn, Landkreis Rosenheim, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria, Germany
About a kilometer from the western outskirts of Rott, the road to Ostermünchen passes Arbing. The place name probably goes back to the settlement of an Arbeo or Erbo. After a slight bend in the road, the court chapel belonging to the property "Beim Brand!" is on the left.
The "Herz-Jesu-Kapelle" - according to the entry in the list of monuments - has been beautifully renovated. On the front of its yellow-painted facade, the inscription above the entrance door reads:
"Blessed be the name of Jesus henceforth unto eternity"
Below is the heart with the superordinate IHS monogram and three nails of the cross. Inside, behind the wooden dividing grille and its crowning, which is probably older according to the carving motifs, is a crucifix. It is assigned to the late 19th century. The corpus has a brass-colored heart hanging around it. - according to the dedication of this sacred building as "Herz-Jesu-Kapelle". According to opinion, the chapel was probably built in the first half of the 19th century
In 1982, the Schindler farm owners began to renovate the chapel and it was able to start in 1985. The neighborhood supported it.
Built by professionals. This chapel is already entered in the original survey plan of 1856, albeit the wrong way round. Pictures painted on linen and attached to the vaulted ceiling show the four evangelists.
