The road has been closed, so you can easily walk up to Gryllefjord Viewpoint // Smatidan. In winter, we walked up to the viewpoint on snowshoes accompanied by Northern lights, it was great fun. The view to Gryllefjord is not the very best but in the night, you can even see lights from Andenes in the horizon.
