On the Griesheim Main Bank, in the extension of the Hafnerstraße, there is the sculpture "Memoria della Giudecca" (Memory of the Giudecca) by the Italian sculptor, draftsman and designer Pino Castagna. The work, created in 1983, consists of three wooden posts, so-called "bricole", which are wrapped in steel ropes and ropes at the top. The Giudecca is a long archipelago in the lagoon south of Venice. The Canale della Giudecca is the great canal between Venice and the Giudecca, which - despite numerous shoals - can even pass through the largest ships.
