The Pic des Carmilles rises as the first peaks of the foothills of the great massifs that make up the eastern Pyrenees, such as the Rulhe massif.
With a flexible appearance, the peak culminates at 1,750 meters and dominates the bucolic hut of Tessoula.
Heading north northwest, you can see the largest talc quarry in Europe, the Trimouns quarry.
