The modern mortuary in the cemetery was built over the vaults of the former St. Catherine's Chapel. The upper floor of the Romanesque building was destroyed by the Calvinists in the 16th century. In the vaults are neatly piled an unknown number of bones and about 5000 skulls from the Middle Ages. It is the only Karner in a wide environment, in which human bones are still.
