Frogner gamle kirke is a stone church from around 1180. The earlier medieval church on this site called Frauna kirkia à Gauteið burned down in 1918. The walls were repaired in 1936, the floor and roof in 1948. In 1977 the restoration was completed.
Opposite is the Frogner nye kirke.
