The Kellergasse Bürsting is about 200 meters long and was named after the area "Bürsting". Closed rows of basement buildings line both sides of a narrow, cobbled, sloping ravine. Not only simple cellar entrances but also press houses were built here in the vertical loess walls.

In the "Bürsting" there are now 51 cellars, some with press houses, of which only 25 are managed or wine is stored. Many of the cellars and press houses that have been renovated in recent years are only used for parties and social purposes. In many cases, smaller adjacent cellars with a pre-built press house were combined through inheritance or purchase.

Thanks to tourism, the "Bürstingweg" has regained increasing popularity and importance in recent years.
