On the Wurmegg is a small, jet-black mountain pond.
People say that in its depths lies a golden chariot, on which a hideous dragon sits and guards it.
This dragon is said to burrow the lake on two sides. One direction points toward Filzmoos, the other toward Neuberg.

Where the dragon first burrows through, the lake water will one day flow away and flood the area. A dull rumbling is also said to often be heard from the depths of the pond; it is believed to be the roar of an angry dragon, as it is usually followed by a storm.

A golden chariot is said to have been sunk in the pond by the Romans during the persecution of Christians. The shaft of the chariot is said to be visible even today on three specific Saturdays of the year. Whoever succeeds in salvaging this cart will be blessed with wealth for the rest of their lives.

Three young men once tried their luck up there. Cheerfully, they climbed the mountain and, sure enough, the cart's drawbar appeared before them.

Two of them immediately set about the difficult task, while the third had to pray for the success of the task. When the two men had salvaged half of the cart, one of them said to his praying companion: "You don't have to struggle while praying, so you only deserve a smaller share!" No sooner had he said this than the cart became heavier and heavier. Even with all their strength, the men could no longer hold the cart and had to watch as it sank back into the depths of the lake before their eyes.

This lake has exactly the energy encapsulated in the legend.
It is the judging and judgment that draws us into the depths.
Those who enter into silence quickly realize in this place:
If I judge and condemn others, I am judging and condemning myself.
With the high energy radiating from the earth, a great deal of awareness can arise in a short time, and immense self-healing can occur as a result.
      A particularly beautiful place.
