Tips
This wayside shrine at the Kammbergweg junction to Bierberg is a fairly old and traditional image of popular piety. Originally a sandstone relief, it now only exists as a cement cast. The foundation purpose of this votive is unclear. But it was already firmly anchored in the parlance of my parents and grandparents when they said: "Today we're going to hike to Bierberg again over the Marienbild."
