The Caraseta Mill maintained its milling activity until the middle of the 19th century. In 1895, its owner subjected the mill to a profound reform, adapting its waterfall to generate electricity through turbines. The first operation test of the plant took place in May 1896. Between 1903 and 1904 the operation of the plant was significantly improved, and the plant building, currently in ruins, was built.
