    The Royal Palace of Moossou, the current residence of His Majesty Nanan Kanga Assoumou, is filled with symbols. This palace amazes its visitors with its many statues as representative as each other. This is an opportunity to discover symbols of the large Akan ethnic group to which the Abourรฉ belong. Moossou has about 600 inhabitants. This is the village of the abourรฉ รจhรจ, an ethnic group from the south of Cรดte d'Ivoire. This village is located at the mouth of the Comoรฉ River, which reinforces its tourist appeal. But above all, the culture and political organization of the abourรฉs รจhรจ, marked by the royal seat, attracts more than one.

    Three institutions make up the social and political organizational structure of the Abourรฉs: clan families, generations and age groups, and the royal institution.

    In the courtyard is the statue of Queen Abla Pokou: According to legend, the Akan peoples came from neighboring Ghana from the Ivory Coast. During their journey, Queen Abla Pokou is said to have given her son as a sacrifice to the gods, so that the people could cross a river through a bridge established by hippos immediately following the sacrifice.
