Wolverine Peak is one of the most prominent peaks to the east of Anchorage, though it does not see the same numbers of hikers as on nearby Flattop. It's named not after the X-Men character but because members of the Mountaineering Club of Alaska found wolverine tracks near the top. On clear days, it's possible to see Denali from the summit.
