The Bisort hut is the first unguarded hut of the GRP® tour of the Montagnes d'Ax, at around 1,275 meters above sea level.

It is a basic construction and open all year round. It is located in the heart of the forest, 400 meters from the Fount de Coumecourbe.

In a precarious state, it nevertheless has a table, a bench, a fireplace as well as a low side and some mattresses.

Without planning there for one night, it remains an excellent stopover during the ascent and a last-minute refuge in the event of capricious weather.
